It does not guarantee a person’s safety while flying. This type of security is only for show and the feeling of security. This would cover a workforce of 70,000. Since September 11, 2001 the United States has been in reaction mode. This has the airline match the luggage to the passenger as well as scanning through an explosive detection system, which can identify bombs as well as chemicals inside of baggage. When the criteria is evaluated by the computer it gives each passenger a number, and based on that number the passengers are questioned personally by security personally.
