Worship is more important than helping other people

             I agree, because worship is a way of asking for forgiveness. Worship allows us to keep our faith in God, strong. Worship is the centre of our faith, it reminds us of why and what we believe in, which is what allows our faith to continue. Worship is the act of giving praise and thanks to God for what he's done, doing, or about to do, it can be public or private. The main reason why worship is so important, is because worship is what Jesus did, he always prayed to his father, even at the worst of times, "Father, into your hands I commend my sprit". That to me means worship must be important, that Jesus actually worshiped as he was dieing. We also need worship for God to help us, if we don't worship, we will not receive, just like the time Jesus was praying to God for strength in the Garden of Gethsemane, to have the power to go though with what was in store for him. Worshiping God is like a way of giving back to him, it is like a way of saying "You have done many things for us and now we are repaying you". The biggest and probably greatest act of worship preformed by Jesus was when he went into the desert and prayed, fighting temptation, "40 days and 40 nights, fasting in the desert". Worship is important, but I also disagree that it is more important because, we are meant to be helping other people, as well as worshiping God. Helping other people is also what Jesus did, and what he has told us to do, one of the commandments states, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hurt you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who hate you". Helping someone, is like showing them a way out of a situation and guiding them down that path, it will mean a lot to that person and will make you feel good.
