Jane Austen's romantic fiction, "Pride and Prejudice" has been successfully transformed into a post modern romantic comedy "Bridget Jones's Diary", composed by Helen Fielding/ Sharon Maguire. Jane Austen grew up in the rural part of England and was greatly exposed to the average country life and was not quite familiar with the political aspects of her country. Bennet sets out to have her daughters marry into wealth so that they will all be provided for in the event of Mr. This technique provides the responders with further information about the community and the information provided is purely authentic because other techniques such as first person narrative give a biased story.
