There are contradicting view points regarding whether or not physical education should be mandatory in high schools. Some believe that, students in high schools should not be force to take physical education class because that will make them feel embarrassed and humiliated. This argument fails to acknowledge that, to be physical fit and healthy is something to be embarrassed. If the students are advised about the benefits of having the physical education class there won't be any reason to feel embarrassed or humiliated. Those oppose to mandatory physical education feels that, it is not necessary to take this class as mandatory because they won't need it for their future life. This argument fails to consider that because researches suggest that exercise may help to improve memory, reduced stress and increased self esteem which is three main components for our future life.
             It is important to make physical education mandatory in high schools because that will maintain students healthy and fit. Furthermore, when students do exercise they feel more energetic which will help them perform better in their other courses. Exercise is beneficial for all students to have a physical education class as mandatory.
             Physical education is very important in all teenagers' life, not only because it maintains them healthy, and fit, at the same time it will keep them away from drugs. It is recommended that adolescents do exercise which included all types of sports since it is a good way to keep their mind occupied in different activities.
