The American revolutionary war

The American Revolutionary War is the most important historic event in the United States. Many groups of people were affected by this war, and one of then was the Native Americans. The American Revolution was not a revolution for the Indians because they were constantly losing land to the white men before, during, and after the war. Before the war, the Indians had to move many times from their territory. For example, the Proclamation of 1763 sought to limit the conflicts between Native Americans and English settlers by prohibiting the British to move into Indian land. The Native Americans took action in the American Revolutionary War. The tribes were either moved or send to the west. The situation the Indians were in was very frustrating and made them to take action to try to resolve it. The Indians did not understand the concept of owning land, so they had to move. With the time the problems between this two civilizations were changing, even though there are some people that still discriminate the Native Americans. Furthermore, in the Preliminary Articles of Peace of 1782, the Native Americans were not mentioned. The English people lied to the Indians and used them to have advantage in the war. The Indians were so desperate to have their land that they agreed with the British. They promised the Native Americans money and protection. The British did not gave any recognition to the Indians for the battles they fought. In 1830 the government made the Indian Removal Act that said that the Native Americans had to move from their land so the white men could take it for settlement. For example, the government signed treaties with the Indians for their land. In addition, the Americans believed the Native Americans were racially inferior. es were removed from their territory without any respect. The Indians continued to be discriminated by the Americans and affected by the rudeness of the white men.
