College Essay
As a child growing up my focus was not a high school diploma, I knew that would come with enough hard work, but I wanted to center on attending a four year college to get a Bachelors degree. Nobody in my family had attended college except my father, and he was a part time student who did not focus on a four year plan. He never graduated. There wasn't anybody in my close family who had gone away to school. I want to set the example for my younger relatives and my six year old brother to be pursuit an education. In my senior year of high school, my football team went undefeated, but lost the state championship. I want to prove to my self, my parents, and the world that I can achieve my goals to get a four year Criminal Justice degree, find a well paying job, and settle down and have a family. I have had one dream ever since and it was to go and give 100% towards a college education while playing football. My plea to attend a four year college, earn a Bachelor's degree and play football isn't going to come easily, but I am definitely working my hardest to achieve it. After high school I took a year off and went to a community college. Currently I am working and starting my second semester taking some Liberal Art and Law classes. One thing I am positive that I have learned from life is that things aren't handed to you. I wish I couldn't have lost that year, but I got my finances straightened out and worked on my grades so I could transfer and play Division Three College Football. If you want something you have to go out and do it. From the ten years that I played, I certainly learned a lot about responsibilities, cooperation, teamwork, and how to be a role model. I plan on keeping up the hard work along with my 3. Playing Football was a big part of my life. I am making it my first and foremost priority to achieve a college education and play football.
