Chinese Civilization

China's Influential Transformation on World History What creates a civilization that constitutes a prominent and historical influence on world history? As time has proven it is leadership in government, economy, people, conquest, trade, and military power. There have been myriads of civilizations throughout the world since the beginning of time that have brought to this world vast global benefits of ingenuous ideas including; the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. Among the most prominent countries which have produced countless numbers of technological advances, overcome structural fantasies, and displayed leadership and military capabilities within a broad scope of progress. Ancient China was seen as a land of immensely long distances and having unconquerable barriers which excluded them from other ancient civilizations; their "closed door policy" made their people believe they were the sole center of civilization. The easiest way to break down the Chinese civilization from the beginning of its creation is through the examination of dynasties. China's history covers over 11,000 years of history which, within the history of the world is significant. The dynasties measure changes in society over the different time periods which inc


lude the Early, Bronze, Classical, Age of Division, and the Early Medieval Period time periods. Chinese rulers during this time started promoting the Mandate of Heaven. The T'ang empire was filled with dancing, music, art and gifted stories. It was considered a time of wealth, jollity, and the testing of new experiments. Confucius once said "He who exercises government by means 3of his virtue may be compared to the North Star, which keeps its place and all stars turn towards it" (Confucius, Analects,"n. The Chou Dynasty was divided by feudal states and education and transportation flourished. Religion began to change also with the start of Buddhism and Taoism. The Shang and Zhou periods made remarkable achievements including astronomy, education, and a multifaceted system of writing. Moving on to economies a major trade route was also established that's was called the Silk Road. Even though there was a great loss of education in history from the book burningsof the Qin Dynasty the Han's education flourished with the invention of paper and they"standardized the language and writing of China"(Han Dynasty,"n. 4 The golden age of China was considered to be the times of the T'ang Dynasty. This Dynasty was more or less around 600-900 CE and was considered to be the wonder of the world. Confucius was liked so much by the Han because of his different and unique style, that his word's seem to sooth and inspirit people at any point in time or during any situation of life.
