A rose for emily

Emily Grierson is a very quiet person who kept to herself a lot. She's not very sociable and stays in her house and doesn't even talk to the people in her town. Emily lives in the past because of her fathers death and she stays in her house alone and excludes herself from the town. Then, she meet a man named Homer Barron who was African American, worked in the town paving sidewalks. Emily and Homer lived together but they both wouldn't leave the house they kept to themselves. Emily was still very quiet even living with Homer, she wouldn't even talk to him much. The Townspeople feel bad for her ,their always saying "Poor Emily". Talking about how she lost her father, lives by herself, never comes out of her house, and how lonely she might be. They become glad when they found out that she was living with Homer, the townspeople would never see them only when Homer comes out with the market basket but, the front door remained closed. I think Emily had a very tough life, she lost her father, lived by herself and was probably very lonely. Emily probably only lived with Homer not because she loved him, but because she wanted to have somebody's presence with her so she wouldn't feel alone. She was a strong lady, wouldn't ask anybody for help, and probably didn't want anybody to feel bad for her. Emily was sort of an outcast to her town.
