Abortion

Although not everyone would agree, I think abortion is wrong and should have stricter laws. Many people have an abortion for reasons such as a possibility of the baby having an illness or disability or if the baby will not be the same sex as the couple would like. I don't think these are good enough reasons to stop the life of an unborn baby.
Some people would say the abortion laws are suitable and women have good grounds for doing it. They think it should be the mothers choice. They don't think of the foetus as a baby6 as they believe it's not a baby until much later in the pregnancy.

There are several points I want to make to support my view. The first one would be that in some peoples eyes abortion can be looked upon as murder. Although the foetus can't survive outside the mothers womb until twenty four weeks at the earliest, by time the foetus is four weeks old it has a working heart. When the foetus is eight weeks old it has a central nervous system, ingestive and digestive systems, brain cells, ears, nose, eyes, fingers and toes are forming at this point and the baby can also move its head, bend its body and is sensitive to touch. I think this should mean that the foetus can be counted as a life. This would mean that aborting a baby would be taking a life. Because it can be seen as murder I think abortion should be given stricter laws to stop this from happening. Religious believers would see abortion as being a murder because one religious man told the government, "Death should only fall upon a human by the deliberate hands of man as the wages of sin or high crime in the sight of god". An unborn baby can't commit a crime so should not be killed. Some women and doctors think that before twenty four weeks the f...
