OLIVER TWIST

             This book by Charles Dickens touches so many part of me; my concern of being a citizen to other people who is being oppressed and discriminated, my deep appreciation to their hardships and trials in life, and up roaring the values and virtues they possess and obtain while being downtrodden.
             It reveals so many values to readers; values that can be practiced and can boost their morale as a good person.
             Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist is a kind of a fictional novel. It is fictional for possessing the western slavery behavior of adults to young youths. And a novel for having its exciting story and value oriented sequences.
             Oliver Twist was born in a workhouse of a parish in England. His mother died right after giving birth to him. Before he was a year old, he happened to be transferred into another workhouse. He spend his life there with other 25 children. Most are hard-headed and trouble makers, only few of Oliver's kind. When he turned 3 years old, he was so thin and very pale. Because of lack of food and nutrition in the workhouse, he was always hungry and always wearing a sad face. For the 2nd time, he was transferred again to another workhouse by Mr. Bumble Oliver suffers starvation. Whenever he asked for some more food to eat Mr. Lynkin's who is in charge to their food, he will always scream to him and Mr. Bumble. Oliver then transferred to so many handlers, he then suffered too starvation and his life there was as bad and as evil in hell. Oliver got into trouble with some men and got hurt. He was then left by these men to save themselvesand at last Oliver is half way free. He was found by Mrs. Rose Maylie and cured. Then after he got well he was fed, and he told him about his past.
             The setting was in a workhouse in England. It was done in England in western times.
