Performance enhanced drugs are not new to sports by any means and very recently, have become a significant problem in sports. We already know that these drugs are said to be used in professional sports but we are now finding out that they are widely used in college and high school sports as well. There are several different types of Performance enhance drug in sports that I will cover in my essay. The misuse of these drugs can alter a persons life; so what is the reasoning behind the use by both professional levels as well as college and high school levels. What are the health effects that these drugs can have on an individual and what are the consequences that can result from the misuse?
