The Difference between a Brother and Sister
             While growing up, my brother and I were really close. We did everything together; we had the same friends and everything. As we got older, this changed so much. We did not communicate anymore. It was as if we had nothing in common anymore.
             When Gary was in school, he got straight A's. He never had any problems in his classes. Because Gary was so smart, all of his teachers liked him. When Gary reached high school, he was taking some college courses. Even the college classes were easy for him.
             School is a hard for me. I had lots of problems and struggled through school. Even though I had such a hard time, the teachers were still hard on me because I followed my brother and he had never had problems. The teachers thought that because he was so smart, I should be also. Even though I had problems, they still thought I should be doing better.
             Gary and sports never really went together. He never got into sports; he was what they would call a bookworm. Gary tried football his freshman year in high school, but he did not do very well. He was more into schoolwork.
             When I was in middle school, I played every sport I could. I really like sports - all of them. I even wanted to play football, but I was a girl, and the coaches wouldn't let me play. So, I played everything else I could, I was a very active child. I could not just sit and do nothing; I had to be doing something at all times.
             While Gary was growing up, he never really had any friends. He stuck to himself. Some kids made fun of him because he was so smart. They put him down because he got straight A's, and they did not. He was just unable to connect with kids his age.
             When I was younger, I was never home. I was always gone to some friend's house; my mom could never keep me home. When I got older, it was even harder for her to keep me at home. I hung out with all kinds of people. I never really hung out in just ...
