Early child development
When discussing my early years my mother always has a smile on her face. She was so proud to have me as her boy. In the beginning stages after my birth and return home from the hospital my mother continued to try her best to take care of me the best that she could. Because she abstaining from mostly all chemicals, she breast fed me from the time I was born. Throughout my first couple of weeks in the world my mother says I was well behaved and slept a little more than the average according to doctor Benetti. My mother also says I grew very attached to her presence and began experiencing seperation anxiety from the beginning. Although the book states it usually takes place around 9 months, my mother recalls it being much earlier than that. She recalls me having a great
deal of frustration at times when not by her. I think however the most important factor that made me develop with such ease was the love and care I received from my mother and father and family during my infancy. She always said that in every respect of development I was a quick learner in walking, talking, and in development in general. My temperment according to my mother after I showed her the book easy. My mother gave it her best to show me positivity and love from day one. After showing my mother the text, she says I did have somewhat of an anxious-resistant attachment style during my infancy. The next thing my mother likes to discuss is how early I began walking. On the whole my mother says that she loved caring for me and was thrilled to see me healthy and progressing through infancy with ease. However in the absence of my mother I was more cautious to my environment. When my mother was around I would take on any new task, play with toys, and explore in ways infants normally do. Another strength my mother recalls was my coordination during this period. My mother seldom said I would use maladaptive means in exploring my new world and seldom did I withdraw from objects. I read in the book that the average is somewhere around a year. Being I was her first born, she didn't realize how well I developed until my sister was born and other family members (my cousins) who were a little more of a challenge behaviorally speaking.
