Teach Life and Not Trash

             Ridiculous! All of it just doesn't make any sense. Work, work, work, and why? We work because we supposedly have to know it. Know what? That is probably what you're thinking, and yeah, it does bother me. The level of education learned in the 70's and 80's is nothing compared to today's society. During that time, education was a big deal but didn't determine the outcome of the student's future. The average student could go to school, finish and become anything that he or she desired. Anyone could see that life as a dream, and that is something that I wouldn't mind living. Nothing can, or could, ever be that easy. However, I have some ideas about how to fix the school system. It needs a wake up call.
             Elementary school is a necessary experience because it actually pays off later on down the road. Let see, you have your everyday naptime, recess, show `n` tell and more. I mean, don't get me wrong, elementary school is fun and all, but things kids learn aren't really all necessary. To explain the unnecessary things isn't really important, "so your gonna have to believe me!" As children, human beings are taught to always keep their heads into the books. This is a very true statement, but everything that a kid has to read and write isn't needed or expected in the future. Plus, that same phrase, "keep your heads into the books," isn't really used until a kid hits high school, and only because "after high school your life (future) begins."
             Get out of here! I don't believe that life starts after high school. The school systems are not right, and I personally know that other people will agree with me. This is how I see it; elementary schools should be there only to allow fun in the children's lives. But hey, I mean that's how I see it, but it couldn't be like that because of the system we have.
