The food and drugs administration (FDA) in the US states that there is currently no scientific evidence to prove that the electromagnetic energy emitted by mobile phones affects health adversely. The administration, however, goes onto say that recent studies show that there may be a link between cell phones and brain cancer and there is a need for this to be followed up. The World Health Organization says there is currently no scientific evidence to prove that users of cell phones and at risk of anything. The truth, however, is this. The number of cell phones users around the world is growing exponentially, and so is the number of brain tumor cases. We have yet to find out if they're related as scientists are doing experiments and coming out with more information each time and are convinced that cell phone radiation is a big problem.
             My hypothesis on this topic is that over a long period cell phone radiation can cause brain cancer. The purpose of my research is to find the effects of cell phones on your brain and determine if it can be deadly. My procedure was, I looked up this topic on many websites and read what different organizations thought about this topic, and I read real-life stories written by people who have brain cancer and believe it was caused by cell phones. Also, I read many statistics. From all that research, these are the results I found. Communications is a very important thing used worldwide, but who knew that trying to communicate with someone on your cell phone every day, every week, years after years, that you could be causing your death, by brain cancer.
