Task 1 essay on

In "All Watched Over" by Richard Brautigan and in Passage II by Issac Asimov, the authors established a controlling idea about the co-existence between computers and humans. The author of the second passage shows how people depend on computers in their lives. The authors use literary elements and techniques such as imagery, personification and characterization to convey these ideas.
In the first passage "All Watched Over" Richard is trying to tell the readers that humans and computers can in fact coexist in harmony.
