Areas of Knowledge

             There are two main areas of which knowledge can be obtained; they are from a scientific and artistic point of view. It has been argued that the true form of knowledge is acquired from science, but artists also play an important role in understanding the world, which surrounds us. The scientific viewpoint of knowledge is based on logic. Scientists use logic as a form of knowledge in order to interpret how our world works; however science can be linked to arts and emotions. Artists offer their knowledge through imagination, emotions, and ideas within their music, paintings, literature, and etcetera. Although artists can are able to use their knowledge to express their emotions, they can also describe the wonders of science beautifully, for example, the complexity and beauty of a rose. Infinite knowledge must and is intertwine with information from science and art; without a bridge connecting the two, many other forms of knowledge would never be connected together as well and so the full perspective of the world would never be known. Historians pay attention to the different sides of knowledge that the world can offer; and only through this method of learning and analyzing can a historian be confident in what he or she concludes.
             Historians who fail to acknowledge the scientific perspective of understanding the world is doomed to live in a Stone Age world. The world of science has advanced so incredibly forward it would be foolish of a historian, someone who writes about important events in history, to ignore the new technologies and break thoughts in medicine. Science can be divided into chemistry, biology, and physics. Just these three sciences alone can hold an enormous amount of information, such as chemistry to medicine, biology to the human body, and physics to sports.
