The movie Alexander was about a man named Alexander who conquered many lands in his lifetime. Alexander was the son of the king of Macedonia, King Phillip, although his mother continuously told him that the Greek god Zeus was his true father. As a young boy Alexander was determined to one day be remembered by all. When he was about twenty years old his father was murdered and he became king.
             After Alexander became king, he set out traveling east with his army to conquer other lands. Soon not only was he king of Macedonia, but also Egypt and many other countries. He went to war with Persia, which once was the greatest empire. He defeated the Persians however the king escaped. He searched for three years until he finally found the king, however he had already been killed by his own commanders.
             Battle after battle Alexander's army fought and conquered. They fought for the glory and the freedom of Greece. At the young age of twenty-five Alexander was king of all. Soon he was loved by all. However, he eventually began to upset his people. He married an Asian woman who was of no significance instead of marrying a Macedonian woman. His people felt highly disrespected by him doing so. He often returned the land that he had conquered to their kings hoping to make allies, which also upset his people.
             After eight years of traveling and battling, his people wanted to return home, but not Alexander. He wanted to continue east battling others and conquering other countries. His people began to think that he was on a crazed quest. Alexander forced his army to move on. They reached India and battled the Indians where they were finally defeated and Alexander was almost killed. He finally decided to return home to Babylon.
