"Beep, beep, beep, beep!" The rude and obnoxious sound of my alarm clock interrupted my oh so pleasant dream as it reminded me to get up for school as it was 7:30. Ahhhh, just another day, I thought to myself, I've got 30 minutes to get ready for school. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, it's my birthday and I'm now officially a preteen. The 30 minutes went by and yet no happy birthday from any of my dearly loved family members. Yep, so far it's just another day, except this one's my birthday.School breezed by quickly and I got numerous Happy Birthdays from my friends and teachers. I got a phone call at school and I thought, wow, I'm so popular I get phone calls at school, too. I picked up the phone slowly as if I was still dreaming and didn't know whether to answer or not. I brought the phone up to my mouth and said, "Hello?" "Hey, happy birthday! I'm going to be picking you up from school today. Bye." And that was it. My senses flooded back to me. It was just my mom, I thought, just my mom telling me a sharp happy birthday and then hanging up.As she had said, my mom picked me up from school that day (usually my friend takes me home). This was a Limited Too remake except this small chick store was all accessories and shoes and not so much of the clothes. I would grab as much clothes as I could, try them on, and go back for a second trip. I did this until I got a bit tired of trying things on so I decided to switch to something other than clothes (and we had already kind of already spent $200 on both of the stores). We drove on and on for about 20 minutes until the distance delivered a sign that read 'Baybrook Mall'. I went home a happy preteen and I'm proud to say it took me about 2 and 1/2 months to wear every single clothing, pair of shoes and accessories. My mom and I ordered cherry cokes and then started on desserts. I picked out shirts and pants from just about every rack in the store. We topped it off with ice-cream sundaes and chocolate chip cookies. It came clearly in focus and we drove straight into the Mall parking. You see, we had just moved here and before, I would always go to Mall of the Mainland and so it was my first time to go to Baybrook Mall.
