Matrix

The matrix was one of the most enjoyable Sci-Fi thrillers. The sequels were also highly anticipated movies. We can compare the original The Matrix to the two sequels, Matrix: Reloaded and the Matrix: Revolutions in terms of originality, acting and last and most important plot. First, we can compare The Matrix to the two sequels, Matrix: Reloaded and the Matrix: Revolutions in terms of originality/distinction. At first interpretation of the word "originality" many people might be confused with the idea of this distinction especially when it entails sequels. In comparing sequels originality might be hard to find for the obvious reasons such as they are continuations of the same idea. Although sequels tend not to dwell on originality they need to make a distinction between each other. This first movie has the fresh originality many modern sci-fi outings tend to lack, there's just the right amount of action to keep the plot moving along swiftly. The writing and directing team of Andy and Larry Wachowski seem to take the idea of originality to far. The Washowski brothers take The Matrix sequels and give them there a new taste by removing all the desirable qualities of the original. This is a major distinction between the sequels and

The more experience and comfortable the actors get in a certain situation the more the actor tends to filter out good acting. They also neglected resolving the final conflict between good and evil that they neglect the main characters. For example, Morpheus' speech to the inhabitants of Zion was totally corny, and reeked of bad acting. It seemed that everyone had a Brave Heart speech to give every five minutes. These actors in the first movie definitely display better acting. The sequels develop meaningless characters with develop an understanding of human civilization. The movie is disappointing by trying to make you feel closure without actually resolving anything. The sequels leave many things unaddressed at the end. Last and most important, we can compare the original Matrix to the two sequels, Matrix: Reloaded and the Matrix: Revolutions in terms of the character overall plot. There is definitely a contrast in the acting of these movies. Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves play the roles of confused humans that are learning about the true nature of their reality and role in the war against the controllers of it. The sequels, striving for originality, take a different turn from the successful path of the first movie. They drag you way from to mysterious ideas that are left to your imagination. What these sequels lacked in relation to the first movie was that they ended the prophecy and removed the possibility of the viewer's imagination.
