Children of the holocaust

Let's go back in time, a time were there was so much prejudice and racism towards innocent people and children who didn't knew why all of this was happening to them, and why there was so much people dieing? Jews were happy, working, children playing in the streets and riding their bicycles. According to the book called "History of the Holocaust" by Yehuda Bauer, she states that by the opening year of the twentieth century, many Jewish homes and livelihoods were a secure as they have ever been. This all change when Hitler came to power. Jewish people were not allowed to work or go any were public. Children could not go to public schools were there were non-Jewish children. They had to go to a special schools were only Jewish children attended. The Nazis gathered all the Jews including children and were send to the concentration camps. Some children experience the lost of their parents to torture. Although some children survived there are left with a terrible memory of the Holocaust. Just what is the Holocaust? The guards seized the belongings of those who were to die. She recalls that on April 1, 1933, Hitler's government sponsored a nationwide boycott of Jewish stores and other businesses. He describes how personnel's poured containers of poison gas down an opening. But unfortunately these experiment killed these poor children. But that all changed because these killers were having some difficulty in killing face to face, so the Nazis soon sought a more impersonal and efficient method of genocide (extermination of an entire population). One of the victims who was a child, relives that day were the Nazis began to slaughter many Jews including her parents. The Jews were forced to live in separate communities called Ghettos. Camp personnel tattooed a number on the arm of each person. The little boy now adult described that the others were sent directly to the gas chambers, his grandfather was one of them. When they arrived at the camp, a physician singled out the younger and able-bodies, a little boy and his parents were one of them. According to a book "Children of the Holocaust: The Last Eyewitness" by Wikotoria Sliwoska. The first Nazi concentration camps were organized in 1933, shortly after Hitler came to power. As many as 2,000 prisoners were sent into the gas chambers at one time.
