The worst habit today in the United States is smoking. Bad habits are so popular today, but nothing is as bad as smoking. For example, someone biting there fingernails constantly is considered a bad habit, but it is not as unhealthy as smoking. These numbers are going by the "usual smoker", and can differ on people having more cigarettes. But spending over a hundred dollars on cigarettes a month can really hurt you financially. Most people who are addicted to cigarettes find a way to fit them into there budget, no matter how tight it is. This can affect family and personal life.
