Usually when the people come to United States, they realize how important is to speak English. We know that the most of the foreign families teach to their child speak first their native languages because they think when their children go to school, they will learn English. Bilingual education is that children should be instructed in their native language for a transitional year, but they have to be transfer to an all English classroom as fast as possible. However, children will feel more comfortable if they are in bilingual class in their school. First of all, child would feel more secure and comfortable going to school where they receive bilingual education. Students who know well English and other languages have more facilities and opportunities to have a job. In contrast, children are enforcing their native language and they are preparing to be ready to take full English class. Children usually fear the school especially in their first years. Student who speak well English and other languages could have more facilities to talk with other students who do not still speak English. It is just to have students take most courses in their native languages while they learning English. When she went to school, she was enrolling in bilingual program, so she did not scare go to class and learn English. They will feel trust because they know there speak their native languages, so they can ask in their language if they did not understand. As a result she enforced her Spanish and learned English. For example, my sister comes here when she was 11 years old, and she was afraid to go to school because she did not speak English. uld continue to be taught in our public school for these reasons. In conclusion, bilingual education should be continue to be taught because foreign students have more chance to learn English step by step and do not abandon while their are learning English.
