Babysitting jobs usually pay a rate of $5 an hour, while the minimum wage for fast-food restaurants is $5.15 an hour. This is not a very big difference if you consider taxes. On the other hand a babysitting job does have a set schedule because it is set upon the parents of the kids. They may switch you from days to nights, off and on. At a fast- food job you have several co-workers and must work with them as a team. other hand fast-food restaurants pay in checks that take out miscellaneous taxes for things. Therefore the responsibilities are greater on a babysitting job than on a fast-food job. Always remember to pick a job that will fit your personal schedule. Fast- food jobs can lay off workers or even lower or raise your working hours. For most people their work schedule most be planned with the rest of their daily activities.
