Moraltiy

Morality has been questioned, honored and revered by people since the beginning of time. Yet, even today not one person can say what is universally morally right or wrong. Morals can be defined as the distinction between right and wrong or the rules of right conduct. Most people hold many morals when it pertains to their daily lives. Morality and social mores or ethics are words we hear almost daily in our world today. We are constantly making judgements as individuals, and many of these judgements concern morality. Many philosophers have asked the question, "how do we define morality?" Webster's dictionary defines moral as "conforming to a standard of what is right and good.... 2.conforming to a standard of behavior based on one's own ethical judgement." If I were to tell you how I felt about the topic of abortion, I would be using my own moral judgement in expressing my own opinion. When I decided on my viewpoint did I use my own moral judgement, or did I conform to a standard of what society says is moral? Did I take into account my religion, or did I simply decide on my opinion because it was the opinion of my peers? Is the way developed my opinion about abortion the same way that you devel

We realized that we can be hit, we are not a country that can not be touched. Everyone's morals don't mesh with the society's music, but some do. That's why they try hard to keep it how it was. But what is the definition? Is it just what it says in the dictionary, what's right and wrong? To some people, though, morals are not all the same. Our society is trying to keep everything away from us today so that we can stay in their morals. So that when you get older you can somewhat have a lifestyle that you dreamed of your entire life. Everyone has their own idea of good and bad. The television is taking our society to a level where we really don't know where is going to take us. Today's society I think has a good morality. What is good and what is wrong? Where do we have the limits set to measure our morals? I think it's whatever is in your head. You have these things set in your life that you love to do and things that you would not even think of doing. I think it's there that you decide which lifestyle that you want to live and lead. Knowing this, a better definition of the word moral might be the capacity to make a decision based on the goodness of one's motives. Since the terrorist attack, the war in Iraq, our nation is striving to be better at everything we do now.
