Time goes fast, when the new year is coming, I am twenty-three years old. With
every year I feel the age goes up, my happiness is disappearing gradually, I can't find
anything to make me happy. I miss my childhood, and I miss that feeling where a tiny
thing could please me, but now that I have grown up, my desires have expanded, my
mind has become confused. I have a lot of things to do, but I don't know why I should be
doing them. What is happiness? I close my eyes and search my memory for answers. I
visualize my city. One of the many things that I remember was a remarkable soccer game
That was a Sunday night, six years ago, on a cloudy summer day. My home city,
Chongqing was still surrounded by sweltering air, I could almost see the steam of water.
There were many people walking on the street. The drink stalls were very busy in the
summer, they needn't worry about their business. Cars and buses caused a traffic jam, the
sound of horns annoyed my ears. I was walking among the crowd to the game, filled with
excitement . The people looked excited, too. They were talking loudly and yelling. Some
of their faces were painted, some of them were shaking flags and playing big drums, and
some of them were even doing sacrificial ceremonies to the gods for my team to win.
Finally, I was close to my destination, Da Tian Wan Stadium, an historic place in my
city. The crowd was around the stadium making it hard to enter. After I entered, I could
not find a place to stand. How many people there were! The sound of drumming caused
by the fans was loud and deafening. My heart was beating with the sound. I expected I
could enjoy the game, but I still worried about my team winning.
