Conflict is an inevitable part of everyday life. How has you
Conflict is inevitable and conventional in our everyday life. Everyone should experience some form of conflict, either internal or external. Internal conflict associate with mix of emotions people experience which may lead to misunderstanding to certain subjects and overreacting beyond their point of view. Internal conflict leads to external conflict which involves more people and effects the surroundings. When conflict affects the surroundings, the conflict may become harder to resolve. These conflicts may include; social conflicts, family conflicts and racisms. Some conflicts begin from little things and form a cycle to further conflicts, as it becomes larger. The text, Gangland by Maureen McCarthy is a great demonstration to this type of conflict. The conflict builds up in a cycle as more problems were created. Similarly with Looking for Alibrandi by Melena Marchetta which involves many internal conflicts by Alibrandi, and seeking for answers. These 2 texts were resolved peacefully when the character made the right choice. However, not all texts have happy conclusions, such as Janie's Got a Gun by Aero Smith, which ended corruptively. Janie made the wrong choice and prefers to resolve it in a disturbing manner.
The argument resolved as they both had time to re-consider, and realized that the past should be forgiven. She did not agree with Con that it was Phil's and vice versa. For Janie's got a gun, conflict began when she was an innocent young girl. However, Josie's perspective of her Nonna changes as the novel progresses. External conflict also caused between Josie and her boyfriend, Jacob. Her confusion between Phil, her 'perfect' boyfriend and Con, a boy which her dad did not accepted. As for Looking for Alibrandi, Josephine created her own conflict and resolved it by bringing it to consideration and analyzing it. The internal conflict caused him to seek for revenge; for his dead brother. Overall, he was not portrayed as a teenage boy, as a disturbing object. Also, Looking for Alibrandi includes many internal conflicts. She was trapped, and her internal conflict builds up as she become older. She did not resolve it but rather to forget her, but the memories incessantly occur in her mind. Vasilios and Phil were fighting was a physical conflict. She was devastated to see his appearance and reaction when he greeted her mother. This fact annoyed Kelly and caused internal conflict to her.
