Can video games make children violent
Computer games, is it a possible disaster for society? While many say that it is just a game others, like myself, think that a computer can be as destructive as loading a gun and giving it to a toddler. This is because teens across the globe are playing horribly realistic video games with sadistic themes of violence, sex and drugs, not only that but some children are mimicking the actions of the games in real life, a sort of twisted reality lived out at a school in Columbine America. Also the fact that the government is even thinking of bringing out an R rated category so that children can play more violent games than usual is just astounding. The American government has investigated into these "Murder Simulators" and has found that some games do encourage aggressive behavior, some are such good "teaching tools" of destruction that the Australian army is using them as training tools, these are now being sold to the public to ANYONE. Some computer games that are being sold at such family orientated shops such as Target, Myer and K-mart are so graphically realistic that one could a

This would be acceptable for they are mature adults who need these skills to survive, but these "murder simulators" are now available to children in all leading video game providers. Two Children who were teased by other students decided to massacre their fellow students in a way not unlike to the Doom or Quake video games of their time. It is a game where a child gets to play out the work of a porn star and engage in intercourse, it paints a disturbing image. Postal worker, a disgruntled postal worker kills people, and the most sick and twisted game of the lot, Milk Round. In my view the only games that should be available are games like "Maths Blaster" and other educational titles. A ten year old growing up participating in extremely graphic sexually simulated games. So if this has been proven to be the case then why are these kinds of games still available to children of all ages in almost every country in the World. If that isn't bad enough the problem is that they can only get more realistic, while the technology of PC's advances its graphics capabilities boom enabling it to be more realistic than ever before. These are the kind of games that the government wants your children to play. At the end of their massacre of fifteen they took their own lives. It is just an impossibly stupid idea. Why are our children still being allowed to buy computer games when some of them have been proven to "encourage aggressive behavior.
