Beginning in the sixteth century with historical documents such as "The Declaration of independence" and "The Gettyburg Adress", the United States has asked god to place his blessings upon us. It is a major issue whether or not students should be allowed to pray in school but I personally believe prayer should be allowed, for the simple fact that prayer in school produces an environment of discipline and respect for the founding fathers of this nation. Nobody wants disaster but not allowing students to participate in school prayer will make this country weak in morals eventually causing it to fall. This is very evident because our young society is never taught to pray. It is a true statistic that students who pray before the school day has started have been known to do better in school than those who do not pray. This is a Prime example that this nation is lost with out prayer.
