A Beautiful Mind

             I enjoy watching movies about extraordinary people. That is why I chose to watch "A Beautiful Mind." The movie exceeded my expectations. "A Beautiful Mind" is based on a true story, which makes it even more interesting.
             The main character of the movie is John Nash. He is a renowned mathematician genius, who graduated from Princeton University, where he achieved his breakthrough in the Theory of Economic Dynamics. Later John Nash received The Nobel Prize for it. This is just a short introduction to the main character of the movie. However, his genius and achievements are not the focus of the movie. The main idea of the movie is to show the other side of John Nash's life – how he developed a very serious mental disorder shizophrenia. The amazing journey of a genius from sanity to insanity and back to sanity is the main idea of the movie.
             The plot takes place at Princeton New Jersey during the Cold War. John Nash is invited to the Pentagon, where he decodes crucial US national security information. There he meets William Parcher, a Department of Defense agent. Parcher hires John to fight against Cold War enemies. John's task is to find the code that Russians use in American newspapers. That code would help to pinpoint the location of the bomb. John finds the realization of his genius in serving his fellow citizens, but his mind betrays him with frightening delusions. He dedicates his life to a job that is a mere creation of his mind.
             The other important character of the movie is Alicia. She is attracted to John because of his genius and accepts his eccentricity. Soon they become get married and Alicia gives John the love and support that he was deprived of. John did not like people.
