They are basically the same because they have so many similarities and both give great education. Anyone can compare Public and Parochial Schools being very much alike. Some kids just judge them because the title "Public Schools" sounds better than parochial schools and other kids they just go where their parents make them go. Parochial and Public schools both have sports and both schools share the same sports program. Public and Parochial Schools are also different in many ways. Another difference is that people have to pay money for their children to go to the Parochial school, but to go to the Public school it is free. What needs to be realized is that each school has its own qualities whether they're good or bad. Public kids have to go to a religious class every Wednesday night unlike the Parochial kids because they get religious education by going to church and learning it in school. They both have rules that you have to follow and both have same classes for each grade. Some ways they're different are their size and parochial schools give religion along with their education. It is easy to say that one school is better than the other, but really they are basically the same. Public schools have many more kids than the Parochial school. In the Parochial school the quality of the kids education may be better because they work more one on one with eachother. So take the time to visit both schools and have an opportunity to look at how they do things the same and different. People never really observe the differences and likeness' in schools very much.
