Personally, I think music is an essential part of everyday life. Music can set the mood for every occasion. There is music at weddings, dancing clubs, funerals, graduations, etc. For any typical day, a person can enjoy multiple main stream music such as, R & B, techno, country, rock, rap, and more. I consider music very important because it has the ability to relieve stress. It also can make a person feel energetic with its rhythm. Also, studies shows that listening to music enhance brain neurons to be more active. Students therefore can concentrate more during school activities. I listen to music almost every day. It's really hard to say what my favorite kind of music is because I listen to so many different kinds. It's also heavily depending on my mood. When I am taking a drive, I mostly listen to techno, especially if I am going really fast on a cool summer day. I often go to the club just to feel the beat of a hip-hop or techno song. It's a kind of problem that many kids go through every day, and I truly feel bad for them; however, I don't agree with bad-mouthing your own mother on national television. Many artists have used their talents to send a positive message to the world. I let other decide for me because I'm afraid what I choose does not make other happy. They will imitate the way singers dress, act, or talk. " At any time when I want to take a nap, I would turn on really slow songs to put me at ease. I cannot get my priority straight on very simple things. When I'm with my girlfriend, she would listen to love songs, which I also don't mind at all. I would drive around not knowing where to go eat. It can also recall the memories that I have missed. It talk about how girls should not live to other's expectation (about being fat, or have implants) because it's the inside that counts. I would also like to point out that there are many positive aspects to music. I really enjoy the work of Bryan Adams, Richard Marx and other alternative rock bands because their songs talk about realistic issues relating to love and life. So I guess it is an "approval" knowing that it's okay to feel a certain way because I'm not alone. In many ways I believe that like movies, music has a great impact on our culture. There are also many other songs that deal with drugs, violence, and sex that help many teenagers found their confidence and self-esteem.
