Music Essay

             Sometimes people are bothered by the thought of going to visit relatives or vice versa. Personal belongings are either broken or misplaced. Talking and laughter can be heard from miles away. Neighbors are to be warned ahead of time, so that the police aren't called for a disturbance in the neighborhood. Usually there is a sweet smell that disperses throughout the air in the area surrounding.
             When I was a young kid I went to see both my grandparents almost every weekend. My patience were low throughout the weekdays. I always looked forward to playing with my cousins on the weekends. On Sunday both of my grandmothers would cook a huge dinner that could feed an army. In the beginning of the day I would eat at my grandma's house (on my mom's side). By the end of the day I would stop by my other grandma's house for another dinner. The thought of great food was the least important reason of why I wanted to go see my grandparents.
             Listening to the stories my uncles and aunts told would be hilarious, but the stories would be educational also. Everyone would be in the kitchen area talking and laughing during dinner. The kids would have their own area where they could watch television while the adults would sit in the kitchen and laugh obnoxiously. After dinner my cousins and I went outside and played for hours. We played basketball, football, baseball, tag, and red light green light etc. My clothes were one color in the beginning of the day, but by the end of the day my clothes were brown. Once I hoped in a tub the water would turn brown.
             If I was lucky I got to spend the night with my mother's parents. Don't get me wrong, I loved going to my other grandmother's house, but I was the only little kid over there most of the time. Kids my age were always at my mom's parents house.
