Sacrifice
Under the bright blue sky, the winds chased each other around furiously but playfully. The sun shined brightly as its rays broke through the clouds and generously bestowing its warm gift upon Earth. The birds were chirping melodious notes, in tune with its harmonious environment. Nature was playing its song of life and was kind enough to show off its grandeur and beauty.But nature's song was suddenly interrupted by the sound of two boys running up the hill, gasping for air, and yelling, "Hurry Hurry!" These two boys were brothers, Seth and Faro, 12 and 11 years old. Their destination was Morrowville Junior High School, and they had nothing on their minds but to get there on time. Because if they were late, they knew that pain and humiliation was eminent. As they approached the school, both of them paused for a couple of breaths and cautiously crept to their classroom's window. They needed to confirm the teacher's position in order to make further plans to get in class unnoticed and hopefully unpunished. Seth was the taller of the two so he stealthily poked his head up, surveyed the classroom, and quickly ducked down. He smiled as he looked at Faro and they both knew the coast was clear.
As the day progressed, Seth looked increasingly lifeless and can most definitely be qualified as a zombie. He loved intellectual challenges and information that would widen his archive of knowledge. Oh how he wishes to be as happy as that. Now it seems as though their hearts were being rapidly burnt by the flames of sadness. At dinner, Seth and Faro told their mother of how they were savagely beaten and humiliated by Ms. She had given them a chance to live a happy life and gave them a future. The "Dark Arts" were said to be used by the Lord of Hell himself to invoke evil and pain upon Earth. Lockheart began teaching Geometry and the Pythagorean Theorem. His body would not function as his heart and mind was filled with terror. Slowly the tentacles pulled his leg and arm. She was hiding beside the window waiting to perform her grand punishment after their grand entrance. He fell to the floor and writhed in great pain. She signalled for the boys to be silent by gracefully putting her forefinger upon her lips. They had nothing on their minds but to bring back their mother.
