Frankiln Delano Roosevelt
Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the Unites States. He was elected president on March 1933 while the Great depression was taking place. He died during his fourth term, just before Germany surrender in World War II. He was very optimist person, that not even when he suffers an attack of poliomyelitis that paralyzes his legs for ever didn't let that that brings him down. The optimist that he showed to people helps him to help the Americans survive the economic crisis and WWII. He is considered as one of the most controversial leaders. Some thoughts that he didn't had the strength to lead the United States at that time, because of all the problems that was suffering. He tried his best to end the depression, but the results of his worked showed until 1939 and 1940 when prosperity return. Franklin was born on January 30, 1882 in Hyde Park, N.Y. James, his father, was descendent from Nicholas Roosevelt. Sara Delano, her mother, married James. Franklin came from a wealthy family. He had a very secure childhood. He had a half-brother, but he was an adult when he was just born. So his parents had enough time for him, and loved him very much. He discover a passion for sailing
