Mothers-Amy Tan

             My mom is one of my best friends because we share a unique bond that only mothers and daughters can share. There are different relationships that people have, brothers and sisters, husband and wife, father and son, and so on, but the one truly unique relationship is one that is shared between mothers and daughters. Maybe it's because of the fact that mothers give birth to daughters and know that they will most likely end up giving birth to their own daughters and/or sons one day. Or maybe it's because mothers and daughters can go shopping together, share clothing with one another, give each other advice on what looks good and what doesn't? Or could it be the fact that mothers want only the best for their daughters which causes many bickering fights, which always get solved in one way or another. Which ever the question is, the answer is still the same, mothers and daughters have a unique relationship that is different from other relationships.
             The unique relationship that I have with my mother could be answered by all the previous questions. My mom is one of my best friends because I know that in friends come and go but the friendship that a mother provides is something that could never be lost, unless it is an unfortunate death related reasons. As much as I love my mom and as a good of a friend she is, she is still my mom! And, just like any mother and daughter, we've had our fair share of fights, of misunderstandings, and moments of disagreements.
