My ultimate goal is to become an Athletic Trainer at a professional sports team, like football or hockey. Athletic Training is an occupation that offers a rewarding experience with a great combination of medicine and athletics that is perfect for me. This is like a year long internship. I found out that an under-graduate as well as a graduate programs are available there in Kinesiology. Some of the graduation requirements for the Kinesiology programs are mainly physical movement and first aid. In my high school career I plan to continue my participation in the Athletic Training room as well as take a psychology and anatomy course. I researched the school that I actually do want to attend after I graduate, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. he Training room for the fall and winter of this year. I was surprised to see that psychology, history of human movement, and public communications were also included in these. This is what really perked my interest in the Athletic Training field. Kinesiology is the study of the movement of the human body. This major is general and I plan to go onto get a masters in Athletic Training. I used this project to do some in-depth researching on Athletic Training, especially the schooling involved. I got to work one-on-one with real Athletic Trainers and real health situations.
