Mississippi burning

The film "Mississippi Burning" was an accurate portrayal of the African Americans in the south during the 1950's and the 1960's. African Americans had separation in many parts of the south just like in the movie; they couldn't be in the same schools or restaurants as the White people. They were beaten, murdered, and lynched just because they were Black people. The authorities of many cities in the South were corrupted. The problems that were focused on in the movie were accurate to the problems faced to the African Americans and Civil Right Workers. The Black people could not eat, go to school or work in the same place as the White people. In the movie there was


In the movie the white sometimes killed for no reason. In the movie when the authority found out that one of the Black people had talked to the FBI they lynched him. The White people burned down their houses to make the Colored people suffer. Some of the Black people were even lynched for no reason. The Whites thought they shouldn't be here. It was not good for the Black people to be with the white people or people would suspect they were up to something. All these problems happened in the 1950's and the 1960's. The movie "Mississippi Burning" was an accurate portrayal of the problems the African Americans faced. Black schools were poor while the White kids had better teachers and a better education. If the authority believed separation was right than they would stick with that they wouldn't let anyone else have their way. A big deal back than was the separation of the schools. The cause for beating them was cause the White people didn't like them.
