Architecture

I remember when I was about six or seven years old, seeing my father work in construction. Just seeing him create something was spectacular in my eyes. I got my inspiration by a simple structure called a house. Now, I wonder how much of an inspiration I can give others by letting them feel the same feeling that I felt that day. That's why I want to study to be an architect. An architect is not just a person that makes buildings. He is someone that influences others by his amazing imagination and creativity, one that designs structures out of the ordinary to make people comfortable in their environment. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the career of an architect from job description, the level of education needed, salary earned, and job outlook. All this information will show others what I will be capable of creating and that will help me on the way to accomplish my desire to become an architect. Architects might also have additional duties such as having an interview with some of their clients such as other architects, interior designers, lighting designers, acoustical designers, and engineers. Principal or Partners of a firm are the highest paid architects there are because they are licensed, have a lot of experience, or own either one or more firms that control other companies. One of the top architecture schools is the University of Texas at 4Austin. That is one skill that may not be a strong point in your ability, but as long as you've had exposure in doing it, that's all that counts.
