SMOKING
Millions of people have died because of smoking or second hand smoking. People should not smoke because they are not only hurting themselves but can hurt others too. The ingredients in cigarettes are deadly. The deadly ingredients lead lung cancer, heart disease, and other cancers that can harm a person. However, smokers are not only hurting themselves but others too by having to breathe the smog that is in the air, also called the secondhand smoke. Scientists have tried to figure out what exactly is in a cigarette. Because when they looked on the cigarette carton, they could not find the ingredients that were suppose to be listed. They start researching and found that the cigarette companies would not list the ingredient label. It is because there were deadly chemicals. Such as urea, arsenic, carbon monoxide, hydrazine, formaldehyde, ammonia, naphthalene, acetone, and ni
It is hard to believe one little cigarette contains that much deadly things. So if there is a problem remember smoking is the problem not the answer. It causes irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat. In the US, smoking causes about 500 new cases of lung cancer everyday. Secondhand smoke is the smoke exhaled from the lungs of smokers and the smoke that comes from the burning end of a cigarette, cigar or pipe. Such as therapy, in one year a smoker spends about $7000 on cigarettes, which is the same amount that would cost them for therapy sessions. It all starts by severe coughing, then leads to pain in the chest then on cancer. Another one is spa treatments; treat yourself to some relaxations by going to the spa and getting a massage. Those chemicals are the cause of why smokers are dying from many diseases. There are an estimated 150,000 to 300,000 cases every year of infections, such as bronchitis and pneumonia in infants and children under 18 months of age who breathes secondhand smoke. It can also irritate the lungs, leading to coughing and chest pain. There are about 400,000 deaths each year because of smoking. Going to a spa would cost you less than what you would have to spend on cigarettes, and plus less risks of health. However, there are other ways to get around it. Children who breathe secondhand smoke are more likely to suffer from lung diseases, have ear infections, and are more likely to develop asthma attacks.
