Biological Weapons

Since the day when war and technology mixed together during these last centuries, each human being has been facing attacks with different kinds of weapons. One of the biggest threats of mass destructors in the world are biological weapons or also known as bio-weapons. According to dictionaries, a bio-weapon uses a biological agent or pathogen such as bacteria or a virus that is harmful to living beings and vegetation. They have been exterminating humans since 600BC when a group of Assyrians poisoned their enemy's water supply with herb hellebore for them to obtain their victory (D. McCulloch). For this reason, they are very dangerous and they can kill everything and anyone on its path very easily, even women and children. Thereby, biological weapons should be totally eliminated from the face of the earth because these microscopic living organisms that are released to destroy humans can end any kind of life as we know it. One of the reasons of why bio-weapons should be eliminated is because they have a " catastrophic killing potential and they are easy to make and conceal" (K. Betts). Also, they are extremely efficient. For example; a substance called botulinum toxin, with using only one little gram of it, can destroy about 10 millions of people (K. Betts). Now, most terrorists will take advantage of these destructors in order to get what they want. Therefore, if we eliminate them, then we could save thousands of lives and generations for our future. Meanwhile, biological weapons are cheaper than other mass destructors. For example, only using one dollar bill, it will affect about one square kilometer of people living in a certain area (D. McCulloch). For this reason, we need to realize that with only two thousand dollars we can kill a whole nation l...
