These included both part-time as well as full-time positions. An important benefit of a job fair is getting to know people. Most importantly, I learned that one should know a Slavic language if he/she wants to work full time in Europe. Most people come to job fairs just to learn about the industry & employment trends. I spoke to him and he said one should learn Russian. Another advantage of a job fair is that you get to know the company first hand. Thus, this can be very favorable in the long run. I was impressed by the advice and information and I look forward to attending any other fair that will be held on campus regarding careers in Europe. Since you meet face to face with your prospective employer, your can arrive at your own judgment about the company and the people there. I also took some brochures regarding the jobs offered. But one has to learn to grab the opportunity and use it to one's own benefit. You also get to know your peers who are equally qualified. The whole fair was very beneficial for me, since I learned a lot about specific industries, careers and organizations. What international recruiters are looking for is languages that are predominantly spoken all over Europe such as Russian, or other Slavic languages".
