Eastern Europe

Gone are the days when people read the recruitment sections of newspapers and applied to specific jobs called for by companies. These days, people network with lecturers, bosses and peers. They visit and post their resumes on job sites on the Internet. However, there is one new avenue for finding jobs, which is very popular in the United States. I am talking about job fairs. I was impressed by the advice and information and I look forward to attending any other fair that will be held on campus regarding careers in Europe. Since you meet face to face with your prospective employer, your can arrive at your own judgment about the company and the people there. I also took some brochures regarding the jobs offered. But one has to learn to grab the opportunity and use it to one's own benefit. You also get to know your peers who are equally qualified. The whole fair was very beneficial for me, since I learned a lot about specific industries, careers and organizations. What international recruiters are looking for is languages that are predominantly spoken all over Europe such as Russian, or other Slavic languages".
