Abortion is a very touchy subject with many people. Have you ever driven past Planned Parenthood and see the people protesting abortion by showing pictures of dead babies. I choose not look when drive past. I believe that abortion is not immoral. To some it is, like many people of the catholic faith. They do not believe in abortion or birth control.
             I am of catholic faith but I am not a hardcore catholic. I take birth control, which is against the catholic faith, but it is because I am not ready to have a baby and I do believe in abortion. There are two major reasons why I think abortion is not immoral. The first reason is, is that when a person is young they think nothing bad can happen to them, their invisible. I feel when someone is very young like a teenager they make mistakes. If they're at an age where they cannot provide the baby with shelter, food, and clothes then they should consider abortion. I think it is a very selfish thing to bring a baby into the world that cannot be properly cared for. The child would have a miserable life. Some people argue instead of having an abortion why not give the baby up for adoption. There are plenty of people that cannot have children and can afford it. What I say to those people is that when the child grows up they are going to want to find their real parents. They will have feelings of why didn't my mom want me and they might feel like there were abandoned. If I were adopted I would want to know who my biological family were.
             Another reason why I think abortion is not immoral is the fact that a person gets pregnant and they need to get an abortion for medical reasons. It may be detrimental to the person carrying the baby's health. Whatever the case may be I believe no one wants to abort there unborn child but there are many reasons a person might have an abortion and until a person has been in their shoes I feel they have no right to judge.
