Education has made it possible for man to gain new insights in the world we lived in and beyond and achieve incredible feats that in the past was dubbed as impossible to achieve. It is also like a powerful tool that opens doors to many new possibilities and ideas. However every coin has two faces, though education can be used for the good of mankind, we have also witnessed its destructive and hideous nature when misused in the personal interest of certain people. Although it is ideal that everyone receives education in this world, the truth of the matter is that in certain developing parts of the world education is still not as widespread as it is in developed countries. Such misuses of education and ignorance have definitely given rise to serious global issues such as AIDS/HIV, the misuse of nuclear weapons, crime, drug abuse, overpopulation, depletion of natural resources and ETC that ought to come to our immediate attention. Hence is education really the answer to the global concerns or has education in fact given us a mean to create more problems? Much of it still remains questionable.
             On the fateful morning of July16, 1945, the detonation of the first atomic bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico ushered in a new era of warfare which would eventually end the war with Japan during the Second World War. Upon witnessing the massive and devastating explosion which resulted in a mushroom like cloud shooting thousands of feet up into the sky, the creator of such a catastrophic bomb, J. Robert Oppenheimer quoted a saying from the Bhagavad-Gita, "I am become Death."
