The Fundamentals of Human Nature

             The human nature of students attending my school would be honest and good at heart. This is because I believe that when everyone is born their mind is a blank slate and are taught or conditioned by their surroundings to become a virtual good or bad person. The students attending my school are born into decent families and have been well disciplined. The parents of these students have taught them good morals and values but, most importantly taught conditioned them to be dedicated. They are responsible young adults who are very caring about school property, their teachers, and peers. The human nature of a typical student in my ideal school would be very intelligent and goal oriented. The student would be very energetic and smart while being very athletic at the same time.
             These students are also very enthusiastic about studying and are very outgoing, friendly, and punctual. A typical pupil would be well-behaved who does not have temper problems nor get angry. He/she should be a problem solver, not an instigator and would know how to think on their feet. For example, if a fight or dispute were to occur, the student must be able to resolve the matter verbally rather than physically. Students attending my school would have these characteristics because they have been brought up by very caring families and have not been abused or scolded as a child but, induced with love and nurture.
             The main ethical ideas that would be practiced in my school would be that everyone must treat each other equally despite gender, race, ethnic background, or religion. Another moral concept that will be followed is similar to Kongfuzi¡s which states, "Do not do to others what you would not like done to yourself." The fundamental natural law morality would also exist in my school as well which would prohibit cheating, stealing, plagiarism, violence, etc. Discrimination would also be unacceptable in my school.
