Writing personality
What is your favorite or best piece of writing? For a piece of writing to be my favorite, not only do I have to like the outcome I have to enjoy the process of writing it. For this reason I don't like to be given a very specific topic to write on I like a little bit of individuality to be incorporated into the paper. I really enjoyed writing for my Comp 1 teacher Mrs. V, I wrote what I feel were my best pieces then. My favorite being a mock self-obituary. It was very reflective and allowed me to put a lot of my self in the piece. I got a lot of praise for it from the class and the teacher; she ended up using it as a model for other classes. For the most part I like to get it out of the way. I don't like writing, then taking a break. I feel like I get two separate feels to the paper if I do that. I like my papers to have one constant flow. I rather only do one first draft, and I don't like to over think my paper. I may consider a bit about what I'm going to write about but I don't enjoy over analyzing it. I like the thoughts to flow freely. I really rather write at night, late into the night. All of my paragraphs have some sort of a topic, main point sentence. My writing personalityI think writing is my most essential form of communication. Through all kinds of time periods in my life. When I speak I censor my words for others, but on paper I rarely feel the need to censor my self for the good of other people. This writing very well reflects my writing personality. I think ever piece you write needs to have a bit of you in it. Two words that describe my attitude towards writing Expressive Emotions I've felt strongly about the ways writing helps you express your emotions since I was young. The type of paper I am writing determines what type of background noise I listen to. I also like to have sunflower seeds and a coke when I am writing. On average I have 9 sentences in a paragraph. She taught me this perfect balance of how to write what a teacher needs to hear from you and what you want the teacher to hear from you. So many things effect my writing personality just like my social personality I take a bit of everything from everyone I come into contact with that I feel will help me continue to better my writing style and personality. This person to me is my comp one teacher.
