King arthur
King Arthur possesses many extraordinary characteristics of a classical hero. Arthur demonstrates in many ways that he is capable of leading others to the best that they can be. The last battle awaiting Arthur is the Battle at Badon's Hill. Arthur already let his knights go to enjoy the freedom that they deserved while he stays behind to fight against the invading Saxon Army. While his knights are on their journey, they turn back around and realize that their loyalty is to Arthur and they cannot leave him even though they are free men. The knights come back to help him, even though it is not their required duty. Arthur quotes, "Knights! The gift of freedom is yours by right. But the home we seek resides not in some distant land; it's in us, and in our actions on this day! If this be our destiny, then so be it. But let history remember, that as free men, we chose to make it so!" Arthur and his knights are choosing to fight for the freedom
Arthur and his knights are called on for their last mission together. Additionally, Arthur is willing to take great personal risk for the right reasons. Arthur is so close to his knights that they live through each other and if one dies, they all die. Arthur is a courageous and honorable, unquestionably, by securing the loyalty of his fellow men. Arthur is ordered to bring back only the family, but he also chooses to bring everyone in the village. By going back and helping Arthur fight for a cause makes them all better men. " In all occasions, Arthur would rather give up his life than see one of his knight's die. Arthur is a very selfless character and is always looking to help the life of another before him. This is not a required task, but Arthur does this because it is the right thing to do. Not a lot of men would you hear say this and actually mean it. Through all of their years together and their close bonds to Arthur, they cannot leave him now. Arthur has taught his knights all through their lives about what is truly important and how they can succeed. He is willing to save the lives of everyone in the village because he is truly a hero.
