For many years Statutory rape has been a main issue across the whole U.S. There are many different laws and types of statutory rapes depending on what state it was committed in and the exact details of the encounter. Now we do not believe in all types of statutory rape being right because there are all different kinds of them as we have said before. Some of them are where innocents minors have been tortured and harmed purposely and we grieve and pray for them, but the ones who allowed it are the ones who we are talking about and are against. They should not be allowed under any circumstances to press charges against the person who did it to them. What we exactly want is to change and "modify" the laws of statutory rape by saying that having consensual statutory rape should be legal, because parents know what's best for there kids.
             We also want to allow and give permission to the 18-21 yr. olds to date minors of the age anywhere between 15-17 yrs. Old because it is pathetic for these laws to apply to people at this age but then after 18 years old it does not matter how old you are for your significant other as long as you are an "adult" which is over the age of 18. But some people ask, "What is exactly statutory rape?" It says here in the Laws of California that statutory rape is "Unlawful sexual intercourse is an act of sexual intercourse accomplished with a person who is not the spouse of the perpetrator, if the person is a minor. For the purpose of this section, a "minor" is a person under the age if 18 years and an "adult" is a person who's is at least 18 years of age." Now what this means is that if a 17 years old had sexual intercourse with a 18 year old, then the 18 year could be charged with statutory rape which is absolutely pitiable.
