People are Created Equal
All people are created equal, everyone has the same right to live as me or anyone else, but people are all different, different but with the privilege that is always forgotten in the everyday struggle to "live" and enjoy the world even though all of its faults show openly.Everyone when they see me just think I'm a dumb jock, all braun and no brain, I laugh like a freshman who was just told a fart joke. People think I am a person who doesn't care about school, who does drugs and parties all night long. Those are just peo
ple who don't really know me, and for the people that kind of know me, and realize that I get straight A's in school, think that I am a man of intelligence. I however see myself as a man that is just trying to go to college, right now anyway, and trying to just get an ideal life. I am to some an ideal kid, getting straight A's, playing three sports, and staying clean, but I have many faults, more than most people I believe, like a bad temper, and the fact that self criticism is a huge part of my life. I am human and all humans have faults, all persons have errors, and all people have problems. It always begs to be used, last in the crayon box, always sharp, exuberant, and bright. If I were a color, however, I would see my self as an orange. I am not a man of intelligence as much as a man that tries, a man that realizes that the first part of being smart is to try to use it to its fullest of its extent. Orange is a lot of things to me, an outcast, mysterious, in a way. It is a color that stands out in my head, always. It is not the lightest of the color spectrum yet not even close towards the darkest. I am an individual, solo, in a world of many faces, faces that are never the same, never treated equal, always shown in different fashion.
