             THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO is Alexandre Dumas' classic story of an innocent man wrongly but deliberately imprisoned and his brilliant strategy for revenge against those who betrayed him.
             Dashing young sailor Edmond Dantes is a guileless and honest young man whose peaceful life and plans to marry the beautiful Mercedes are abruptly shattered when his best friend Fernand , who wants Mercedes for himself, starts the dramatic sufferings of Dantes and deceives him. He sets him up with the help of Danglars and Villafort to be unlawfully sentenced to the infamous island prison of Chateau D'If.
             Edmond is trapped in this nightmare that lasts for thirteen long years. Haunted by the baffling course his life has taken, over time everything he ever believed about right and wrong is abandoned and replaced by all-consuming thoughts of vengeance against those who betrayed him. With the help of an equally innocent fellow inmate named Abbe Faria, who taught him about everything that a tough true man should be. Faria spends the next few years educating Dantes in the sciences, literature, and languages. Because they know that they're both innocent, they plan to end their nightmares and try to escape in the dungeon. Unfortunately, Faria died but before that, he revealed something really useful for Dantes. It was the hidden treasure at Mount Monte Cristo. He accepts the map to which the treasure was sketched. Alone, Dantes plots and succeeds in his mission to escape from prison with an incredible tactics.
             After his miraculous escape, he found himself in a shore nearby. But looks like trouble is right beside him and noticed that he is not alone. A bunch of pirates were there. He was forced to fight a man named Jacobo till death for his freedom.
